Andrea was born in São Paulo, Brazil.  She earned a Bachelors in Fine Art from SENAC (National Service For Commercial Education), majoring in graphic design, in 2004.  While still in college she started interning as a motion designer, and during that time she discovered the magical world of animation and motion graphics.  She worked as a freelancer in animation, motion graphics and design for several years in São Paulo.  In 2008 she decided to further develop her filmmaking and 3D animation skills by attending the M.F.A. in Computer Animation program at The Art Institute of California-San Francisco. She earned her M.F.A. in march 2010, and has been working as a generalist since then. She plans to continue working in this field forever, since that is what she loves to do.
